The Leader in Intelligent Controls
If you're talking about control systems one name is sure to come up in the conversation, I-Con Systems. That's because our proven technology, commitment to innovation, and desire to please customers has made us a leading designer and manufacturer of intelligent controls. The staff of I-Con Systems, Inc. has over 25 years experience in the electronic controls industry. Simply stated no one else has designed such perfect solutions or understands your problems better than I-Con.
For a number of years I-Con has been the indisputable leader in Serially-Linked Plumbing Controls with the industry's largest installed base. We were the first to use Touch Screen interfaces to control our plumbing networks, and we were the first to offer a vandal-resistant, stainless steel sensor with no moving parts.
One of I-Con's strengths is our eagerness to understand our customers' needs. Our engineers and designers spend countless hours in the field looking for ways to make your job easier. Through our understanding of your working environment, we apply our technology to make the most dependable, user-friendly control systems found in the industry today. And with a customer base that includes facilities in Florida, Louisiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Washington, North Carolina, and many other states, you can be sure our commitment to reliability, on-time delivery, and customer service is unmatched in the industry.
What Separates Us from the Others
We do not cobble control systems to sell fixtures, valves or other products. Intelligent controls are our business and our only business. That guarantees you cutting-edge technology, affordable controls, simplified field installation, and product reliability. At I-Con, we design and manufacture our own control systems, and we write our own software. Our communications protocol supports a variety of transmission media, such as your existing power line, twisted pair, RF, or I-Con's visionary single communication cabling. Single communication cabling means we are able to multiple light and plumbing fixtures by establishing a variety of communication layers within a single cable no bigger than half an inch in diameter. This new technology significantly reduces the amount of wire and labor normally associated with connecting a centralized control system.
Dependability is central to the design of our networks. Each controller operates independent of the network guaranteeing the controller's operation should the communication link be disconnected. And with I-Con's Redundancy Module, if an individual controller is turned off, or the communication link is disconnected from a controller, the transfer of information to other controllers on the network will not be disrupted. Troubleshooting is simplified because our systems are capable of self diagnostics. If a controller is not working or if there is a break in the communication link, an icon will appear on the screen showing the exact location of the problem. We've made it a point to take the guess-work out of tracking down a problem.
